Water Damage Restoration & Reconstruction
TRIMWORKS responds to water-damaged properties with assessment, drying and material-removal support when required, followed by the construction work needed to repair and rebuild affected areas.
Water Moves Quickly
The Visible Water Is Only Part of the Problem.
Water can move beyond the original leak into drywall, flooring, insulation, trim and concealed spaces. The restoration plan should be based on the materials affected, the extent of moisture and the conditions found during the work.
TRIMWORKS can support the process from initial response and authorized removal through drywall, flooring, trim, paint and other reconstruction required to return the affected area to usable condition.
EPA Mold & Moisture Guidance →Water Damage Restoration Process
From Wet Building Materials Back to a Finished Space
Stop the Source
The leak, intrusion or other water source needs to be controlled before restoration can move forward.
Remove & Dry
Standing water and wet materials are addressed so affected areas can begin drying.
Evaluate Materials
Determine what can dry in place and what is too damaged or contaminated to remain.
Reconstruct
Once conditions are ready, damaged drywall, flooring, trim and other finishes can be rebuilt.
Dry or Remove?
Not Every Wet Material Has the Same Answer.
The source of the water, how long materials stayed wet and the type of material all matter. Some hard surfaces may be cleaned and dried. Porous materials that remain wet, become damaged or develop contamination may need to be removed.
EPA guidance specifically notes that absorbent materials such as ceiling tile, carpet and other porous products may need replacement when mold growth or prolonged moisture is present.
Commercial Water Damage
Dry the Building Without Losing Sight of Operations.
Water damage in a business or managed property can affect occupied areas, tenant access and normal operations. Local commercial restoration providers emphasize fast extraction and structural drying because downtime can become part of the loss itself.
Commercial Construction →Restoration + Reconstruction
Drying Is Not the End of the Job.
Once damaged materials have been removed and the affected areas are ready for reconstruction, TRIMWORKS can handle the construction side of the recovery—drywall, flooring, doors, trim, painting and other finish work needed to put the property back together.

Common Questions
How quickly should water damage be addressed?
As quickly as practical. EPA guidance recommends drying wet or damp materials within roughly 24 to 48 hours where possible to reduce the chance of mold growth.
Does all wet drywall need to be removed?
No. The answer depends on the water source, amount of saturation, duration, condition of the material and whether the assembly can be dried appropriately.
Do you rebuild after water damage?
Yes. TRIMWORKS can move from damaged conditions into reconstruction, including drywall, flooring, doors, trim and painting.
Do you handle commercial water losses?
Yes. We provide restoration and reconstruction services for commercial and multifamily properties as well as residential projects.
